What is vidyadhan scholarship?
- Vidyadhan Scholarship Program is offered/started by Sarojini Damodaran Foundation, to supports the college education of meritorious students from economically weaker sections or families.
- Those students are selected after completion of 10th class with minimum 90% marks/grade, through a rigorous selection process including test / interview.
- Vidyadhan program has around 8000 students across the following states:-
- Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Ladhak, Bihar, Jarkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & Uttar Pradesh.
- Those selected candidates will be eligible for 2-year scholarship from the Foundation.
- If they continue to do well, they will be given scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest;
- these scholarships are directly through the foundation or external sponsors who have registered with the Foundation.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Amount:-
- Scholarship amounts for 11th & 12th grades will be a maximum of Rs. 10,000/- year .
- Scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000 per year depending on the state, course, duration etc.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Eligibility:-
Who Can Applyfor Vidyadhan Scholarship?
- Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs & who have completed their 10th grade/SSC exam in the year 2024 from Andhra Pradesh / Telangana/ listed states.
- They should also have scored 90% or obtained 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination.
- The cutoff mark for students with disability is 75%. or 7.5 CGPA
What is the Selection Process:-
- The Selection Process of Vidyadhan Scholarship
- The Foundation will shortlist the applicants based on their academic performance & the information provided in the application form.
- The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online test/interview.

Important Dates for This year:
- 7th June 2024: Application last date
- 23rd June 2024: Screening Test
- 7th July to 20th July 2024: Interview/Tests will be scheduled during this time frame.
- Exact date and location will be intimated to each of the shortlisted candidates.
