Applications are invited through online official website, from 04.03.2024 to 02.04.2024, for recruitment of (11062) teacher posts in various categories;-
- i.e., School Assistants,
- Language Pandits,
- Secondary Grade Teachers,
- Physical Education Teachers & Special Education Teachers in Primary Level & Special Education Teachers in Upper Primary / Secondary Level in Government & Local Body Schools in the State through concerned DSC – District Selection Committee-2024.
Written Test (CBT):-The Computer Based Test shall be conducted online at centres in the following districts:-

TS DSC Post wise Qualifications:-
School Assistant (Mathematics):-
- i. Must possess a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics (or its allied subjects) with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (for SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) & Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Mathematics as a Methodology subject from any institution recognized by NCTE.
- OR
- ii. Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the min marks shall be 45%) with Mathematics as a Methodology from any institution recog by NCTE.
- AND
- Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics & Science as Optional
School Assistants (Physical Science):-
- i. Must possess a Graduate’s Degree with any two of the subjects as optionals i.e.;-
- Physics (or its allied subjects) & Chemistry (or its allied subjects) with 50%
marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (for SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the min marks shall be 45%) & Pass in Bachelor of Education - (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry / Science as a Methodology subject from any institution recog by NCTE.
- (Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are eligible for the post)
- OR
- ii. Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (for SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry / Science as a Methodology from any institution recog by NCTE.
- AND
- Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics & Science as Optional.
School Assistant (Biological Science):-
- i. Must possess a Graduate’s Degree with any two of the subjects as optionals i.e.;-
- Botany (or its allied subjects) & Zoology (or its allied subjects) with at least
50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (for of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the min marks shall be 45%) & Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Biological Science / Natural Sciences / Science / Botany / Zoology as a Methodology subject from any institution recog by NCTE. - (Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are also eligible for the post)

- ii. Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. - History (or its allied subjects) / Economics (or its allied subjects) / Geography (or its allied subjects) / Political Science or Politics (or its allied subjects) / Public Administration (or its allied subjects) / Sociology (or its allied subjects) / Psychology (or its allied subjects) / Philosophy / Commerce (or its allied subjects) / as optionals with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation with relevant subjects (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall 45%) & Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Social Studies / Social Sciences / Geography / History / Politics / Political Science / Economics as a Methodology subject from any institution recog by NCTE.

- i. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective from a University recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC , the minimum marks shall be 45%)
- OR
- ii. Must possess Graduation in Physical Education with 40% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC, the minimum marks shall be 35%) or Graduation in Physical Education i.e.. B.P.Ed. course of three years duration.
- OR
- iii. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks from a University recognized by UGC

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of atleast one year duration from any institution recognized by NCTE
Secondary Grade Teacher:-
- i. Must Possess Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recog by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 50% Marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the min marks shall be 45%) & Pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education in D.Ed / 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

- ii. Must Possess Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recog by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 45% Marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2002 and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education in D.Ed. / 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

Age Limit for TS DSC:-
- The candidates should possess the Minimum 18 years & Max 46 years.
- The age is reckonedas on 01/07/2023 (Rule-12(1) (a) (v) of State & Subordinate Service Rules) & as per Adhoc Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.30 GAD (Services-A) Dept., Dated 08.02.2024 the upper age limit is 46 years for the ensuing recruitment.
Minimum Age (18 years):
- Applicant should not have been born after 01/07/2005
Maximum Age (46 years):
- Applicant should not have been born before 02/07/1977
TSDSC Age Relaxations:-
- Telangana State Government = Upto 5 Years basedon the length of regular
service. - Ex-Service men = 3 Years and length of service rendered in the armed forces.
