Telangana SET 2023 – TELANGANA STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST
Is Conductedby OU- Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Osmania University will conduct the TS-SET, 2023 examination for Eligibility as Assistant Professor / Lecturer.
The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The (TS-SET) test will consist of two papers:-

TSSET Paper-I;-
Questions= 50 questions all are compulsory
Marks=100
TSSET Paper-II:-
Marks=200
Questions= 100 questions all are compulsory

TSSET Paper 1:-

Consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks.
The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude.
It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, Comprehension, divergent thinking & general awareness

TS SET Paper 2:-

Consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be basedon the subject selectedby the candidate.
All the questions of Paper-II will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus.

TSSSET Exam Duration= 3 Hours

What is the Age limit for TS SET:-

Age = There is No Upper age limit to apply for TS-SET examination.

Qualifications for TSSET:-

The candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without roundingoff) in PG/Master’s Degree (ie., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA & M.Tech (CSE & IT only)) are eligible.
The BC/SC/ST/PwD category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree is eligible for this Test.

Final Year candidates are eligible for TSSET?

The candidates who are pursuing their Master’s Degree course or the candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s Degree (final year) examination & whose result is still awaited or candidates
whose qualifying examinations have been delayed also apply for this test.
These candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for eligibility for Assistant Professor / Lecturer after they have passed their Master’s Degree examination with at least 55% marks
(50% marks in case of BC/SC/ST/PwD (Persons with Disability) category candidates.
Such candidates must complete their Master’s Degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

TS SET – 2023 Hall Tickets Download:

The Hall Ticket will be uploaded on the website: www.telanganaset.org from 20th October, 2023.
No Hall Ticket will be sent to the candidates by post.
The candidates should download their Hall Tickets from the website to ascertain their venue of the Test as mentioned in the Hall Ticket & appear in the examination only at the designated examination center.
No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center other than that allotted person in the Hall Ticket.

TS SET Exam Instructions:-

TS-SET-2023 will be conducted in CBT Mode.
ii. The Hall Ticket must be presented for verification along with at least one original (no photocopy or scanned copy) valid identification card
for Example:- Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, Government Employer ID & Driving License).
The candidates who do not have clear photographs on the hall ticket will have to bring two passport size photographs for appearing in the Test with a self-undertaking attestedby any Gazetted Officer.

TS SET Exam Timings:-

Candidates are allowed inside the Centre from 7:30 AM onwards
(for the forenoon session) & from 12:30 PM onwards (for the afternoon session) for biometric verification.
The test centre gate will be closed at 8:30 AM (for the forenoon session) &
at 1:30 PM (for the afternoon session).
NO CANDIDATE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE TEST CENTRE AFTER CLOSING THE GATE.
Candidates can login & start reading the necessary instructions 10 minutes before the start of the examination
